I know the end is inevitable, and I’ll fall before I’ll ever learn to
fly. But I won’t give up and I won’t cave in, at least that I can say I
tried. This has always been about heart. This has always been about
change. When there’s nothing left to give, that’s when we start the
taking. It’s a mystery what the future holds. There’s a past behind
us, it’s dark and cold. What will be the end of me? We’ll never know,
so let it go. Just let it go, drown in all your pride. Keep swimming
out into darker tides, let your eyes lose sight of the shore. I’ve
learned that change is irrelevant, and that destiny it lies within,
but I won’t bend and I won’t break down. I’ll make it on my own. This
has always been about heart. This has never been about change.
When there’s nothing left to give, that’s when we start the taking.
Let it go. Just let it go, drown in all your pride. Keep swimming out
into darker tides. Let your eyes lose sight of the shore.
